At around 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Bad Axe police, fire, Central Huron Ambulance and the Huron County Sheriff’s Office responded to a car crash at the intersection of Van Dyke Road and Pigeon Road. Det. Sgt. Kevin Knoblock with the Bad Axe Police Department was on the scene, mostly directing traffic as the sheriff’s office handled the report, but he said it appeared there were no life-threatening injuries.

There appeared to be damage on the right side of one vehicle, toward the back, while the other vehicle sustained damage to the front end. Firefighters were there for roughly half an hour, helping remove the vehicles from the road and clear the scene of debris.

The sheriff’s office was not releasing any details on the crash, and the report was not made available as of press time.
